This guide will show how to configure this for Orders from a specific source channel, such as an integration or a template. For a non-channel-specific setup, see how to set up general communication templates.

Introduction

Shipedge provides the flexibility to customize information displayed on packing lists, such as the Return Address, Promotional Messages, and Logos. You can also configure templates for specific notifications, such as shipped order notifications.

Important considerations

  1. Some features are available only as global configurations and cannot be customized for specific sales channels. Ensure you understand which settings apply globally and which can be used for individual sales channels.

  2. The configuration shown in this guide applies to orders from a specified source channel, such as integrations or templates.

Navigation

Navigate to OMS → Orders → Integrations and look for the sales channel you want to work with, click on the Left icon → Communications templates:

Store Packing List

Fill in the necessary information in the 'packing list' section.

The information can only be edited if the packing list is enabled.

  1. On/Off: Enable or disable this packing list. If disabled, the 'global' packing list will be used for orders from this sales channel.

  2. Promotion: Add any promotional message you want to include. You can rename the attribute by clicking on the white text box on the left. This can be a promotion, a thank-you message, or any custom text. The message will appear at the bottom of the packing list.

  3. Policies: Add any policy-related message you want to include. You can rename the attribute by clicking on the white text box on the left. This can be a policy, a thank-you message, or any other custom text. The message will also appear at the bottom of the packing list.

  4. Slogan: Any slogan message you want to include. This message will appear in the notification emails sent on your behalf (such as shipped and backorder emails).

  5. Image Logo: Upload a custom logo for this packing list. If you want to keep the current logo, select the 'Keep' option. If a new logo is uploaded, the 'Replace' option will be selected by default.

  6. Return Address: Specify the return (ship-from) address to be shown on packing lists and shipping labels, helping customers identify where to send returns.

Remember to click Save when you are done.

Shipped orders notification

Customize the subject, header, and footer of the notification emails sent to your customers when an order is shipped. Scroll down to the 'Order Shipped Notifications' section, and fill in the necessary information.

Customize the subject, header, and footer of the notification emails sent to your customers when an order is in 'backorder' status.

Scroll down to the 'Backorder notification' section, fill in the necessary information.

External URLs

You can configure external URLs for your orders, so you can be redirected to an external page (like your shopping cart order details) when clicking on the order number, or reference number, from the order details.

This improves the workflow between ShipEdge and your shopping cart.

To do this, scroll down to the 'Links to selling Channel or Tool' and fill in the necessary information.
